广西铂洋香蕉股份有限公司是广西金穗农业集团有限公司的旗下控股公司，是中国最大的香蕉标准生产公司，专门从事香蕉深加工。团队成员就香蕉残次果深加工、果轴和皮等副产物的饲料化利用，以及茎叶果轴如何收购、成本收益和市场价格、饲料产品应用前景等情况进行调研，并与广西铂洋香蕉股份有限公司达成初步合作意向，将共同在残次果深加工和香蕉加工副产物饲料化利用方面开展研究。
江泉牧业有限公司一直与院加工所合作，以香蕉茎叶、果轴为主要原料，添加当地木薯秆和象草制成混合青贮饲料，饲喂效果与玉米秸秆相当，可节约1/3的喂养成本，具有推广应用的市场前景。
